Kelmscott Manor, the summer home of William Morris is a work of true craftmanship, totally unspoilt and unaltered, and in harmony with the surrounding countryside. We will view the iconic collection of artwork and objects owned and designed by the Father of the Arts & Crafts Movement and discover why the Cotswold home became an inspiration for him and his family. The Guided Tour includes the expertise of a guide throughout, beginning with tea/coffee on arrival and a short introductory talk with a cream tea to follow and time to explore the beautiful gardens.
Please note the tour will be in groups of 12 with a limit of 36 people.
We will stop at Sedgemoor Services for a very brief comfort break before heading to Studley Grange Garden Centre where there is a large café serving meals and light snacks, and also a number of small independent craft shops to browse. (Please note lunch costs are not included in the price). We will have approximately 1 – 1.5 hours before continuing on to Kelmscott Manor to arrive no later than 1.35pm for our 2pm tour.
